1. Information We Collect

When you visit quanchain.ai, we may collect information you provide directly (such as your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us) and information collected automatically (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs via analytics tools).

If you connect a wallet or sign up through the Launch App, we collect your wallet address and any profile information you choose to provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the QuanChain website and services
• To send you newsletters and project updates (only if you opted in)
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests
• To monitor usage patterns and diagnose technical issues
• To comply with applicable legal obligations

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We use the following third-party providers who may process data on our behalf:

• Vercel — website hosting and edge network. Processes request logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) for infrastructure purposes. Data is retained by Vercel per their data processing agreement. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Analytics — privacy-preserving page view analytics. Collects no cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal identifiers. Aggregated counts only.
• Email provider — if you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us via form, your email address is stored with our email delivery provider and is used only to send communications you have requested.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to protect the rights and safety of QuanChain or its users.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of essential and preference cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies set and their retention periods.

5. Data Retention

• Contact form submissions and email correspondence: retained for up to 2 years from last contact.
• Newsletter subscriber email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Wallet addresses connected to the Launch App: retained for the duration of the testnet programme and deleted within 90 days of mainnet launch unless you have an active account.
• Server request logs: retained by Vercel for up to 30 days per their standard infrastructure policy.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under applicable data protection law including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively. California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@quanchain.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption for all data in transit and access controls limiting who within QuanChain can access personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

QuanChain operates globally. If you are located outside the country in which our servers are hosted, your information may be transferred to and processed in a different jurisdiction. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection law, including relying on standard contractual clauses where required.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email to subscribers. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
