INVESTOR DECK · MAY 2026
The Q-Day
Rotation.
Every blockchain not built quantum-adaptive from genesis faces an unwinnable choice. Freeze user wallets and abandon decentralisation, or let them drain and abandon trust.
QuanChain is the only chain that doesn't.
02 · THE PROBLEM
THE PROBLEM
Quantum computers will break ECDSA.
That's not what we're pitching.
Everyone in crypto knows the headline. Q-Day is coming. Bitcoin and Ethereum will need to migrate. NIST has finalised post-quantum standards. Roadmaps are in motion.
The actual problem is what happens during and after that migration. Almost nobody is pricing it in.
01 · FIRST HACK
A single high-value Bitcoin wallet falls. Headlines call it “Bitcoin Hacked.” Public will not distinguish protocol from user.
02 · CASCADE
Exposed holders rush to migrate. Exchanges freeze withdrawals. The 8-20% of supply that can't migrate becomes a perpetual short.
03 · DRAIN
Each new quantum advancement cracks deeper. Quantum operators aren't crypto-natives. They cash out to fiat. Liquidity leaves permanently.
03 · EXPOSURE LANDSCAPE
EXPOSURE LANDSCAPE
$130B+ in exposed wallets,
right now, on Bitcoin alone.
These are real on-chain addresses with public keys already visible. Every one of them is on a countdown.
| Chain | Curve | Exposed | Notes |
| Bitcoin | secp256k1 | 6.9M BTC (~33%) | P2PK + reused addresses |
| Ethereum | secp256k1 | All active wallets | Every tx reveals key |
| Solana | Ed25519 | All active wallets | Address = public key |
| L2s | Inherits L1 | Bridges + users | Contagion via base layer |
04 · COST FORECAST
PESSIMISTIC, DEFENSIBLE
Cost to hack one Bitcoin wallet,
year by year.
| Year | Cost | Threat level |
| 2026 | $240M | Nation-state only |
| 2027 | $45M | Tier-1 intelligence agency |
| 2028 | $7M | First public hack expected |
| 2029 | $1M | Q-Day per Google |
| 2030 | $160K | Mid-tier criminal groups |
| 2031 | $21K | Mass exploitation begins |
| 2032 | $2.3K | Crypto migration crisis |
| 2033 | $270 | Hobbyists |
| 2034 | $40 | Anyone with internet |
| 2035 | <$5 | Legacy chains effectively broken |
Read: By 2031, attacking a Bitcoin wallet costs less than a used car. By 2033, less than a smartphone. Try the interactive model at quanchain.ai/resources/wallet-q-hacking.
05 · FREEZE PARADOX
THE KILLER PARADOX
Existing chains face a choice
that cannot be won.
PATH A · DON'T FREEZE
Wallets get drained.
8-20% of supply can't migrate. Each quantum breakthrough adds another tranche of compromised wallets. Quantum operators cash out to fiat.
- Perpetual liquidity drain
- Confidence collapse on each milestone
- Native token can't regain momentum
PATH B · FREEZE EXPOSED WALLETS
The protocol becomes the censor.
Freezing requires a coordinated, authority-driven seizure. The chain proves it can confiscate. Once precedent exists, no one holds long-term.
- Destroys the value proposition
- Miss an announcement → wallet seized
- Sets precedent for any future freeze
Both paths permanently undermine why anyone holds a chain's native token. Decentralisation is the moat. Once it cracks, it cannot be rebuilt. This is why post-hoc PQ migration is structurally insufficient: not technically, but economically.
06 · UPGRADE TRAP
TECHNICAL PROBLEM
Static PQ doesn't scale.
Adaptive PQ is the only path.
Post-quantum signatures are 50-100× larger than ECDSA. A chain that bolts on full PQ to every transaction becomes either:
- Too expensive: ~3 KB signatures × 200K TPS = bandwidth + storage costs explode
- Too slow: Dilithium verification is ~7× slower than ECDSA. Finality collapses
- Or both: There's no middle ground without protocol-level adaptive scaling
The only viable path is right-sized cryptography. Protect cheap small transactions with cheap signatures, protect large value with strong ones. Bolt-on chains cannot do this. QuanChain was built for it.
07 · SEVEN STRUCTURAL CRACKS
WHY NO CHAIN CAN BE RETROFITTED
Quantum exposure isn't one bug.
It's a stack of structural problems that compound. Fixing one in isolation doesn't solve the others.
| 01 | Migration paradox. 8-20% of supply unmigratable (lost keys, dormant addresses). |
| 02 | Freeze paradox. Freezing destroys the entire value prop. |
| 03 | Gradual-upgrade trap. Bolt-on PQ is too expensive or too slow. |
| 04 | Fiat outflow. Quantum operators aren't crypto-native. Hacks become permanent liquidity removal. |
| 05 | Lindy reversal. Older chains have larger historical attack surfaces. |
| 06 | Anti-halving. Each quantum breakthrough effectively dilutes supply. |
| 07 | L2 contagion. Arbitrum, Base, Optimism inherit L1 vulnerability. |
08 · THE SOLUTION
SOLUTION
Not retrofitted.
Built here.
QuanChain is the only blockchain where dynamic, auto-migrating quantum security is part of the protocol from genesis block one. Not a v2 roadmap item. Not a committee proposal. The architecture itself.
09 · TADEQS
CORE ARCHITECTURE
No public key ever
protects value at rest.
PARENT · LEVEL 20
Cold composite identity
ML-DSA-87 + SLH-DSA-SHA2-256f (FIPS 204/205). Used only at registration and emergency recovery.
CHILDREN · EPHEMERAL
SpendAndRotate
Every transaction derives a new child, retires the spent key, updates the parent table, atomically. The vulnerable key is never live.
20 LEVELS · ADAPTIVE
Right-sized cryptography
Level 1 (ECDSA, 128-bit) through Level 20 (parent composite, 1024-bit). Address itself encodes security level: QC15_…
Quantum Oracle continuously monitors LQCp/h. Three-tier migration triggers: Suggested (3×), Automatic (1.5×), Emergency (10× cost-to-hack). No central announcement. No wallet to freeze.
10 · PERFORMANCE
PERFORMANCE
Quantum-grade security.
Solana-grade performance.
| Channel | TPS | Finality |
| Channel 1. Transaction Highway | 200,000+ | 200-400ms |
| Channel 2. Smart Contracts | 15,000+ | 2s |
| Channel 3. Data Storage | 2,000+ | 10s |
CCRP cross-chain anchoring across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Polygon, Arweave. Estimated attack cost: $100B+.
11 · THE TRADE
THE TRADE
The Q-Day Rotation.
Every multi-year crypto rotation has a name in retrospect. The 2017 ICO boom. The 2020 DeFi summer. The 2024 ETF cycle. The next one is structurally inevitable.
WHEN
2027 – 2031
First public hack (2028), Q-Day per Google (2029), mass exploitation (2031). Five-year window where the thesis plays out incrementally.
WHAT
Asymmetric upside
Every quantum milestone is bad for incumbents and good for QuanChain. Negative catalysts elsewhere are positive catalysts here.
WHY
Structural, not narrative
The cryptography, the economics, and the headlines compound in the same direction.

13 · POSITION
CTA
Position before
everyone else has to.
The Q-Day rotation isn't a question of if. The only question is whether you're positioned before the first headline or after it.
